Due to the severe frost over the weekend, the strokeford competition sponsored by Seamus Doyle Painting Contractor has been re-scheduled for Saturday, February 16. Anyone who played last Saturday can avail of a free re-entry. Next weekend sees the final round of the winter league sponsored by Hartley’s Motorcraft New Ross.

The Captains’ drive-in will take place on Sunday, February 17. Following on the success of a very sociable event last year, this will be a mixed foursomes competition.

The drive-in is sponsored by Creacon Wellness Centre who were also our sponsors last year. Members wishing to take part should enter their names in the Pro Shop by Thursday, February 14, with the draw for partners to be made that evening.

The drive-in will begin at 11 a.m. with a shotgun start so all teams finish together. This will be followed by a meal and presentation in the clubhouse.

We look forward to an enjoyable day and hopefully the weather will be kind to us.

The next Split The Pot draw takes place next Sunday evening. Entry envelopes are available at the clubhouse bar.
