GAA NOTES
Saturday, February 9, will be a historic and great occasion for the club and the parish. Our Junior hurlers have booked themselves a place in the all-Ireland final in Limerick, where they will play Cappamore from Limerick. The lads had a good win in the semi-final V Inagh-Kilnamona from Clare with Peter Rowley being awarded man of the match. This team have now beaten the county final winners from Dublin, Kilkenny, Galway, and Clare which is a great achievement.
Well done to the panel, manager John Conroy, his back room team and Jay Shanahan, who has been training the lads. We wish the team the very best of luck and we hope to see lots of supporters at the game down in Limerick. If you wish to travel by bus please contact Majella to book a seat.
