Ireland hit a bump in the road on the opening weekend of the Six Nations when they were defeated by England, so no repeat of last year’s Grand Slam and Triple Crown. The Championship is still a target to aim for and some say, the defeat will instill a sense of reality into the squad and more importantly supporters, ahead of this year’s World Cup in Japan. Ireland are on the road this against a Scottish side who made short work of the Italians.
