This long-standing, Wexford establishment has been implementing some amazing improvements to the business in recent times. Now it’s the perfect venue for celebrating all sorts of occasions and functions.

The Orchard Beer Garden has been the focus for the past few years and is now the largest, real beer garden in Wexford town, if not the county: a beautiful, relaxing and interesting space, perfect for just chilling, for a party or for staff get-togethers. New customers are always amazed at the extent of the garden and how surprising it is to find this “hidden gem” in the centre of town. Its name “The Orchard” was chosen because originally it was a Victorian “secret garden”, filled with apple and pear trees. It is still an impressive garden with beautiful original stone walls and original fruit trees which are heavily laden with eating and cooking apples in season.

Anyone who is considering having a get-together in the Bar & Beer Garden can chat to John and he can advise on arrangements for the provision of food and music. If you decide on live music, Gaynor’s have the ideal music/stage-area in the garden, purposely built to accommodate plug-in amplifiers/mikes etc. Or, if you don’t want to arrange live music, you have the alternative option of bringing in your own playlist on a USB and pop it into their outdoor music system.

Take Away Food Menus in the Beer Garden are a convenient way to grab a bite to eat with your glass of wine, prosecco, beer or gin: you can enjoy a variety of take away meals, delivered straight to your table in the garden. Alternatively, if you wish to have food provided for your party by outside caterers, again Johnny & Annette will provide service tables, covers, condiments etc, free of charge.

Gaynor’s was always well renowned for serving a “good pint” but, moving with the times, it now carries a large selection of Wines and Gins. John & Annette have been living above the business for over 25 years now and continue the long standing family tradition of pub owners in the Gaynor name.
