IRELAND LIGHTS UP

In partnershi­p with RTÉ’s operation Transforma­tion the full lights will be on at the pitch from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. every Thursday night, so everyone can enjoy a healthy walks in the safe, bright environs of the GAA club.

SCHOOL ENROLMENT

Enrolment for September 2019 for Monaseed National School takes place during enrolment week: February 11 to February 15. Enrolment forms can be obtained in person during office hours on Tuesday and Thursday, by phone at 053 9428330 or email on monaseedns@gmail.com.

Enrolment week for Craanford National School for September 2019 also takes place from February 11 to February 15 2019. CRAANFORD MASSES THIS WEEK – Mon to Thursday at 9.15 a.m. St Patrick’s School will celebrate their monthly Mass with us on Wednesday morning, February 13.

Adoration will take place in Craanford Church on Monday, February 11, from 9.45 a.m. to 3 p.m.

BAPTISM – Congratula­tions to the family and friends of Nessa Amelia Whelan, Rossminogu­e, who was baptised recently.

PILGRIMAGE TO LOURDES – The annual diocesan pilgrimage to Lourdes takes place from May 11 to May 16. Each year we run a parish lottery draw to select a person to represent the parish of Craanford-Monaseed. Entry to the lottery costs €10 and is available before and after Masses in Craanford this weekend and for the next few weekends. The winning entry will be drawn at 10.30 a.m. Mass on Sunday, February 3. Your support is greatly appreciate­d.

GAA NEWS

Tickets may now be collected and dropped back to Cooney Communicat­ions in Craanford by 6 p.m. on Wednesday evening and afterwards into Cooney’s Pub by 9 p.m. for inclusion in the draw.

MODEL COUNTY DRAW – Tickets will be available at the beginning of March and the monthly draw nights have been scheduled for May 1, May 29 and June 26. The cost of the ticket is unchanged at €50.

CLUB OFFICER TRAINING – This is scheduled for Monday, February 18.
