TIDY VILLAGE ASSOCIATIO­N

Clonegal Tidy Village Associatio­n will hold its next meeting on Wednesday, February 27, at 8 p.m. in St Brigid’s Hall, Clonegal.

CAMOGIE CLUB

The season begins again with registrati­on for this year’s Kildavin-Clonegal camogie club at the next training session, Saturday, February 23, at 10 a.m. Cost to play for the full year for the following age groups: under-six and under-eight €20, under-10/ under-12/under-14 €35 with a maximum of €70 per family. GAA LOTTO

There was no winner of the Kildavin-Clonegal GAA lotto held on Sunday, February 3. Numbers drawn were 09, 19, 20 and 26. Winner that matched three were, Annie Healy, Aughrim, Abbie and Jamie Gray, Clonegal, C O’Neill, Kildavin, Treacy’s Craanmore, Mary Conneally, Galway, Martin Byrne, Bunclody, Tomas Kavanagh, The Mill and Paula Dunne, Clonegal, all receiving €20 each. Seller’s prize goes to Jim Byrne – (Swift), receiving €50. The next draw will take place in Dunne’s Lounge, Clonegal on Sunday, February 17, a jackpot worth €7,800.

YOGA IN KILDAVIN

Yoga with Catherine Callaghan continues in the Spellman Hall, Kildavin every Wednesday. Classes run at 10 a.m. for all levels, 7 p.m. for beginners and 8 p.m. for improvers. Cost of the class is €10 each. If you have any further questions please do not hesitate to call Catherine at 087 9409009.

DRAMA GROUP

Kildavin-Clonegal Drama Group forthcomin­g production of ‘The Two Loves of Gabriel Foley’ by Jimmy Keary, will take to the stage on Saturday, February 16. The group looks forward to seeing you all, so come along for a night of live comedy at its best.

POINT TO POINT

MONDAY CLUB

Come and join us at St Mary’s Day Centre, Ryland Road, Bunclody and brighten up your Monday mornings from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

On Monday, February 18: Arts and Crafts ~ Planning for the Year ahead. Monday, February 25: Dancing Lessons ~ with Declan Flannigan. New members are always welcome.

Throughout the year, we will have informatio­n sharing, entertainm­ent, arts and crafts, guest speakers and many more topics. This club would suit 60+ age group. Entrance fee only €4, which includes tea and light lunch.
