Cado’s new release is set to satisfy your soul

-

WHILE he may originally hail from Co Kildare, multi-instrumentalist Cado has been well and truly adopted by Enniscorthy and its burgeoning rock n’ roll scene. Having played the title role of Buddy Holly in two productions of ‘Buddy The Musical’, he has been well and truly taken to the heart of the local scene and has enjoyed several successful gigs in venues such as the IFA Centre and Toss Kavanagh’s since.

It was therefore fitting that Donagh Cadogan, or Cado, made the journey back down to Enniscorthy and the IFA Centre for the launch of his latest EP - ‘Satisfy My Soul’.

The latest release features a total of four rock n’ roll numbers with a modern twist, namely the title track, ‘My Baby’, ‘Dance Tonight’ and ‘Cause of You’. Cado often quips that he was born half a century too late in 1990, but nonetheless, since he could crawl he’s been steeped in rock n’ roll influences such as Chuck Berry and The Beatles, his father regularly performing ‘Johnny B. Goode’ to him on guitar, providing wonderful inspiration.

These influences are evident in his latest release and, flanked by his band The Delta Cats, he showed exactly what he could do in front of an enthusiastic audience at the IFA Centre.

He thanked the rock n’ roll community in Enniscorthy for all its support and advised that ‘Satisfy My Soul’ is now available to purchase and stream on a variety of platforms. For more details, see www.cadomusic.net.
