FINES for motoring offences were handed down by Judge Brian O’Shea at the District Court sitting in Gorey:

Ryan Cogley of 12 Droim Catha, Drumgoold parking without a valid permit in a disability bay at Templeshan­non in Enniscorth­y fine €500;

David Fortune of Derry, The Ballagh – no valid tax disc displayed at Bellefield fine €400;

Miley Cash (46) from 1 Marconi Park in Enniscorth­y holding a mobile phone while driving at Templeshan­non fine €150;

John Connors from 44 Gimont Avenue in Enniscorth­y speeding at 59 km/h in the 50 km/h zone in Enniscorth­y fine €150;

James Connors from 4 Na Coillte, Bunclody speeding at 59 km/h and then 71 km/h in the 50 km/h zone in Bunclody fines of €150 and €250;

Shirley McCarthy from Ballinacla­sh, Blackwater speeding at 89 km/h in the 80 km/h zone at Wells Hill fine €120;

Sarah O’Toole (26) of 13 Riverchape­l Row, Gorey learner permit holder with no L plate at Ballyedmon­d fine €150;

Roberts Praulins of 10 Riverchape­l Green in Courtown speeding at 62 km/h in the 50 km/h zone in Courtown fine €150;

Sorin Petrovici of 15A Hospital Lane, Enniscorth­y speeding at 111 km/h in the 100 km/h zone on the N11 at Ballylough fine €150;
