ALL-IRELAND CHAMPIONS

Oylegate-Glenbrien junior B hurlers were crowned all-Ireland Champions on Saturday, February 9, after defeating Cappamore of Limerick on a score line of 1-15 to 0-11. The game was played in Killeedy, Co. Limerick. Conor Nolan was awarded with the man of the match. On the day also Marty Kelly was named as player of the series. The organisers also nominate a team selection from the series and five Oylegate-Glenbrien players were included; Marty Kelly, Barry Dunne, Peter Rowley, Padraic O’Connor and Evan Kelly.

This junior team have brought great excitement and honour to the club and parish and we congratula­te all concerned.
