Forefront T the all-purpose weed killer in grassland

-

Forefront T is rapidly becoming the product of choice for weed control in grazing pastures.

Containing the most advanced chemistry in weed control technology, it is a highly effective all-purpose weed killer. As well as controlling docks, nettles and thistles, it also kills other troublesome weeds such as buttercups and dandelions. It has particular application where nettles are among the more prominent weeds in a field.

It is fast-working and farmers who have used it to control docks and other weeds in grazing pastures have experienced major reductions in weed infestations even two years after spraying.

As with all translocated weed killers, best results with Forefront T are achieved when weeds are actively growing and are at the right stage for a good kill. Docks should be eight to 10 inches high or across and before a seed head begins to show.

The ideal stage for thistles is when they have four to 10 leaves and are up to eight inches high. Nettles should be six to 10 inches high but should not have reached the flowering stage. If weeds are gone beyond these stages, it is best to top them and spray with Forefront T after two to three weeks regrowth when they should be at the ideal stage for a good kill

Apply Forefront at 2 litres/ha as a single application. Use 200300 litres of water/ha and keep stock off the grazing pastures for seven days after spraying.

RAGWORT.

Forefront T is also powerful against ragwort. Make sure ragwort is at the rosette stage when spraying and remove livestock off the treated area until the plant has fully died and disappeared.
