Profits flow head to States to take part in lucrative showcase

-

A Wexford-based software provider is the latest company to benefit from the innovative Tradebridge programme, which fosters trade opportunities between local businesses and their Georgian counterparts in the US. Profitsflow, an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software provider with customers in Ireland, the UK and Europe, will take part in the Savannah Gateway Regional Showcase in Georgia from April 1-4.

The Showcase will provide an entry point into the US market for the company - which is the official Irish reseller for the EFACS E/8 ERP software - with the aim of doubling their customer base. Tadhg Henderson, Managing Director of Profitsflow, stated, ‘When we started back in 2009, we concentrated on manufacturing companies in Ireland as our main market. After a successful ten years, we want to expand our target market to incorporate the US. With the backing of the Tradebridge program, we are confident in achieving this objective’.

Tradebridge is a joint venture between Wexford Enterprise Centre, Wexford County Council, Savannah Economic Development Authority and World Trade Center Savannah. Supported by Enterprise Ireland and Wexford Chambers, this initiative has already seen a number of local businesses benefit from the partnership.

Discussing the impact of Tradebridge on his company and Profitsflow’s aspirations moving forward, Mr Henderson said, ‘We already have one customer in the United States and we have no doubt that the EFACS software can be used to enhance manufacturing businesses in the US.’
