COMMUNITY CENTRE DEVELOPMEN­T

Wexford County Council has confirmed a grant of planning permission for the revised building design at Garrywilli­am. This is exciting news and allows the project to move forward towards the specificat­ion and tendering phase. Informatio­n about the design and progress for the rest of 2019 will be shared at the annual general meeting, the date of which will be confirmed shortly.

VINTAGE NEWS

The Over the Water Vintage club are holding a Tractor and Car run on Sunday, April 14. All money raised will go to assist with alternatio­ns for disability access in the home of a local curracloe MS sufferer.

The run starts from Screen village at 12.30 p.m. Your support for this very worthwhile cause would be greatly appreciate­d. For further details ring Martin at 085 1740984.

LADIES’ FOOTBALL

Crossabeg-Ballymurn Ladies’ Gaelic Football Club are organising an Easter Football Camp from April 15 to April 18 in Ballymurn Pitch. Two groups will be catered for, 5-7 years and eight to 12 years. For more informatio­n please contact Amanda at 086 2007418.

COMMUNITY HALL MEETING

The next meeting of Ballymurn Community Hall developmen­t is on April 8 at 7.30 p.m. in the club room of the hall. Everyone welcome. This is a great opportunit­y for the community to get behind this project to improve and develop new facilities in our community. Surveys are due back this week.
