SPLIT-THE-POT

The winner of this week’s splitthe-pot, Drawn in the Cloch Ban, was Margo Doyle Coolnacon, The pot was €232 All proceeds help with the maintenanc­e and developmen­t of the village. We appreciate very much the people who support us.

COMMUNITY GAMES

Well done to the Bree-Davidstown Cloughbawn team of Oisin Harte, Nathan Doyle, George Murphy, Matthew Jordan, Fergal Doyle, Luke Doyle and Mark Smith, who finished third in the county final of the under-13 Community Games Draughts competitio­n in Piercestow­n recently. Martin Humphrey was their coach.

Best wishes to all local participan­ts involved in art, Handwritin­g, Mini Rugby and quiz county finals coming up shortly.
