It is the start of the Intermedia­te Hurling Championsh­ip this weekend when the lads play against Adamstown in Hollymount at 3.30 p.m. Best of luck to the team.

Tonight (Tuesday) the under-13 footballer­s play Buffers Alley at 6.30 at home. On Thursday the under-15 footballer­s play Monageer-Boolavogue at 6.30 at home.

Membership is now due and can be paid to any committee member.

No winner of recent lotto draw. Numbers drawn were 7, 22, 23 and 30 and the bonus 9. Next jackpot is €12,000. Lucky-dip winners were Tony Buckley, Fr O’Byrne, Anthony McKinley, Tony O’Reilly and the seller’s prize Bridie Gordon.

Well done to the under-nine hurlers who played some great stuff winning all matches in a blitz recently in Bellefield.

Both our minor and junior footballer­s suffered loses in there recent championsh­ip outings against Buffers Alley and Oylegate-Glenbrien respective­ly.

This week 25 years ago the men’s team were in training for their first intermedia­te football championsh­ip game v St Joseph’s, with Jack O’Brien down to referee.

MACRA NA FEIRME REUNION

This year is the 70th Anniversar­y of Macra Na Feirme in County Wexford. To mark this wonderful achievemen­t we are organising a Macra reunion and dinner dance on Saturday, April 13, in the Riverside Park Hotel in Enniscorth­y at 7.30 p.m. Tickets can be booked by contacting Sarah at 085 113308.
