GAA NOTES

Following a fantastic win in the Leinster final our Junior hurlers will now play Inagh-Kilnamona from Clare on Sunday, April 27, in the all-Ireland semi-final.

This is a great achievemen­t for this group of players and their manager John Conroy and a great time for the club also. We encourage as many as possible to support the team and we thank all those who have helped with sponsorshi­p etc for the campaign.

Congratula­tions to Marty Kelly, who was man of the match in the semi-final.

BABY AND TODLER GROUP

The group meet every Tuesday morning in the Old School centre from 9.45 a.m. to 11.45 a.m. This is an opportunit­y for young children, their carers parents grandparen­ts and childminde­rs to meet up for a cuppa and a chat. please come along and join us while the children play and have some fun.

GLENBRIEN NATIONAL SCHOOL

The parents’ associatio­n will be holding a community summer social in O’Briens of Glenbrien on Sunday May 5. Music by Ger Busher. The children of the school will be selling tickets in the coming weeks and the draw will take place on the night. Prizes will include €150 One4All voucher, along with lots of other prizes on the night.
