CASTLEDOCKRELL NS NEWS
This week the pupils and staff of Castledockrell NS celebrated ‘Friendship Week’. Throughout the week the older children did lots of activities with their younger ‘buddies’ including games, dance, exercise, art, making friendship bracelets and of course an Easter Egg hunt. During the week we celebrated the importance of friendship and supported Amnesty International by purchasing friendship wristbands.
Also this week the junior room pupils took part in the ‘ Mighty Mouth’ programme and learned all about the importance of dental hygiene.
The boys and girls in second class are busy preparing for their First Holy Communion which will take place on Sunday, May 12, at 10 a.m. in All Saints Church, Castledockrell.
The school is closed from Friday, April 12, and will reopen after the Easter break on Monday the 29th. We wish all of our families and the wider community an enjoyable Easter break.
