The Irish Heart Foundation Hands For Life Campaign will deliver Free one hour training sessions in basic CPR in Bunclody AFC on this Tuesday, May 7, The sessions take place as follows: 5 p.m. to 6 p.m.; 6.30 p.m. to 7.30 p.m. and 8 p.m. to 9 p.m. Booking required directly with the Irish Heart Foundation at Hands.

Bunclody Vocational College will hold a fashion show in Bunclody Golf and fishing club on Friday, May 10, at 8 p.m. A great night is promised.

A used clothes collection takes place in the school on Wednesday, May 22, at Bunclody Vocational College. A great way to de-clutter for summer. Those donating five or more bags will be entered into a draw to win a €100 voucher for the Ferrycarrig Hotel, Wexford.

The National Ploughing championships take place this year at Ballintrane, Fenagh, County Carlow – near the Fighting Cocks from September 17 to September 19.
More than 250,000 people will visit for the National Ploughing Championships. While local hotels, self-catering premises and B&B’s will cater for many visitors, there is a definite requirement for additional accommodation in the County Carlow area and surroundings.
