Each of the six contestants selected in the competition can win €1,500 at the show which will be staged in the Horse & Hound, Ballinaboola, on Saturday, November 30.
Contestants are drawn from the audience and answer seven questions with four possible answers valued at €100, €200, €300, €400, €600,
€800 and €1,000.
The contestants must choose after each question if they wish to bank the amount won or take another question.
The competition is based on the TV show of the same name and a spokesperson for the Cloughbawn club said it’s being organised as part of the club’s fundraising campaign aimed at ‘improving and promoting Gaelic football, hurling, camogie and culture in our community’.
The organisers are encouraging everyone in the locality to attend the launch which will feature guest appearances by two Wexford senior hurlers, Harry Kehoe and Conal Flood. The Bob O’Keefe Cup will also be at the launch and the club spokesperson said those present will also get a sneak preview of the show. Tickets for the show will be available at the launch. They will be priced €20, for a single ticket, with family and groups-offour tickets also available for a special discounted price of €50.
