Frozen fish on the menu at SRI

-

DUBLIN company Novum Refrigeration recently paid a visit to Seal Rescue Ireland (SRI) and donated two large freezers to the seal sanctuary to help their efforts.

The company chose to support Seal Rescue Ireland as it feels the charity organisation is a great cause.

‘ They do fantastic work in rescuing orphaned, sick and injured seal pups from the Irish coastline, from Cork to Donegal and from Waterford to county Louth. The donation of two highly energy efficient freezers is just a small gesture in recognition of a fantastic organisation who are looking after and saving sick and injured seals daily. We were delighted to be able to support them and wish Seal Rescue Ireland continued success into the future,’ said Ruaidhri Horan of Novum.

Seal Rescue Ireland expressed gratitude to the company, explaining that the freezers will be used in the animal hospital to safely store fish and other supplies for our seals.

‘ This will enable us to further improve the level of animal care that we provide for our sick and injured patients,’ said Melanie Croce of Seal Rescue Ireland.

Celebrating 60 years in business this year, Novum specialises in supplying, designing and manufacturing quality refrigeration equipment to the retail sector globally with the end user in mind.

‘What started as a local manufacturer of sewing machines is now a global company with long standing partnerships across the world,’ said Ruaidhri.
