GAA CLUB NOTES

Well done to our under-15s who had a great win in the shield football semi-final against Gusserane by 3-9 to six points. It was a credit to the lads to put up a scoreline like they did in what was the worst conditions you could imagine, between a very strong wind and buckets of rain that fell for the entire match. Well done lads and your hard working mentors, ye have a county final to look forward to now. A special thanks to everyone that made the journey down to support the lads and braved the horrific conditions.

Davidstown GAA will be holding its annual underage awards night in Davidstown hall on November 24.

MASS TIMES

Weekend Masses in the parish are as follows Saturday in Marshalstown at 7.30 p.m. and Sunday in Castledockrell at 10 a.m. Please note also that baptisms in both Marshalstown and Castledockrell are on Saturdays.

SOCIAL DANCE

The next Social Dance in Marshalstown is on Friday, November 22. Doors open at 9.30 p.m. and dancing starts at 10 p.m. Admission including tea is €8.
