Audiences will be treated to a hilarious evening of comedy, as Craanford Drama take to the stage in Sam Cree’s Cupid Wore Skirts.

This three-act play follows the tribulatio­ns of widower Andrew Coulter’s love life. While undertakin­g a wager with his embittered sister-in-law, Andrew vows to find a wife and he places an advertisem­ent in the personal ads. When three women accept Andrew’s proposal, he soon realises that his problems have only just begun and mayhem ensues. Suitable for all the family.

Many thanks to those who ‘slept out’ at the pitch in Craanford and in Wexford Park to support Focus Ireland Shine a light campaign. It was encouragin­g to hear the support at 4 a.m. from the party revellers to keep going and make a difference.

Massive congratula­tions to our under-20 hurlers who won their county final against a very physical Shamrocks side. The team performanc­e ensured a much-deserved victory for all players and selectors and delight to the supporter’s present. Final score CF 5-15 SK 1-12. Well done to the panel of players and management of Niall Berney, Michael Lyons and Michael O’Loughlin.

Hard luck to our minor camogie players who lost out to Buffers Alley. A match against the Ibars to be fixed shortly is their next outing in their campaign.

Best of luck to our under-11 hurlers who play Myshall of Carlow in their ‘A final’ in Bunclody on Sunday morning.

Nursery is on every Saturday morning at 11 a.m. in Craanford Complex. We have loads of fun and games introducin­g children to GAA skills, making friends and learning team work. For ages: 3-6 years. New members are always welcome to come along and give it a try.
