Prizes given to Enniscorthy’s Tidy Towns winners
THERE was great excitement in Enniscorthy recently when the local Tidy Towns organisation presented its annual awards.
A lot of hard work and commitment goes into community work around the town and district each year from people who are interested in and passionate about making Enniscorthy a better place to live and work.
The town and district did well in this year’s national awards scheme with increased points being awarded in many different areas.
That was replicated in the town at local level and the awards presentation ceremony gave the local committee a chance to praise local people for their efforts.
