Raheen lead the way

Division2

Raheen lead the way in Division 2 after a comfortabl­e 4-1 success in Crossabeg on Sunday. Peter Finn (two), Frank Staples and Mark Cowman got the goals for the visitors.

St. Leonards are hot on their heels, however, after edging out fellow high-flyers Curracloe United 3-2. Donal Kiely, Ken Cahill and Jason Dunne scored for the winners, with Conor Hearne and Ryan Donnelly replying for the seasiders.

Gorey Celtic and Taghmon United shared the spoils after a 2-2 draw, with Greg O’Rourke and Kenneth Byrne scoring for Celtic, and Seamie McLoughlin and Cathal Murphy replying.

Jake Flynn and Cillian Cushe (two) got the goals for Gorey Rangers as they won 3-1 away to Shamrock Rovers, while a Tommy Sheridan goal was enough for Rosslare Port to edge out Enniscorth­y United.

Division3

Ajax Athletic moved to within a point of the Division 3 leaders with a convincing 5-1 triumph over Rosslare Strand on Sunday.

Jamie O’Grady, Glenn Fortune (two), Jack Hanley and Glenn Buckley scored for the Rajahs, with Adam Buckley replying with a second-half volley.

Shelburne United hit Cushinstow­n for six without reply, with Chris Connick, Bryan Cody, Kieran Kelly, Eoin Kelly, Jess Quigley and Seán Moran all hitting the back of the net.

St. Joseph’s saw off Enniscorth­y Town 3-0 with a Seán Keane double and a John O’Leary strike, while Bree United and Killenagh Wanderers drew 1-1.

Shane Jordan got the goal for Bree, with Billy Dunne on the mark for Wanderers.

Division3A

Leaders All Blacks chalked up an emphatic win on Sunday, overwhelmi­ng Courtown Hibs 6-1 with doubles from Shane Cassidy and Darren Naughton plus a goal apiece from Adam Devereux and Niall Moore.

Fethard Rangers suffered their first defeat of their season as they were put to the sword by an inspired Oylegate United outfit. United ran out 5-0 winners, with Conor Doyle and Barry Dunne both netting doubles, and Jeff Scally also getting in on the act.

Dylan O’Brien helped himself to a hat-trick for Fastnet Rovers as they won 4-1 in Bunclody.

Kyle Kennedy was also on target for the Rathangan outfit, with Paddy Kavanagh replying.

Division4

Rosslare Rangers maintained their six-point advantage at the top of Division 4 with a 2-1 win over Cloughbawn on Sunday. Cian Buttle and Jason Ellard got the goals for the table-toppers.

Second-placed Camolin Celtic won 3-2 away to Corach Ramblers, with Daryl Murphy, Ashley Tully and Thomas Cloke scoring for the winners, and Eoin O’Connor and Jon Reville replying.

Carne FC lifted themselves off the foot of the table with a hardfought 4-3 win away to Kiltealy

Celtic. Danny Walsh and Joey Murphy both bagged doubles for the winners.

Caim United also won by the odd goal in seven, edging out St. Joseph’s with goals from Darren Blackburn, Paudie Lacey and Anthony Peare (two).

Pa O’Brien, Joseph Farrell and Dillon Kearns scored for Joey’s.

Division4A

Wexford Bohs had their shooting boots on on Sunday as they ran out 8-1 winners in Curracloe.

Eoghan Whitty, Beau Brennan and Ross Hammond all bagged doubles for Bohs, with Shane O’Connor and Graham Kelly also getting in on the act.

Fellow table-toppers St. Leonards also picked up three points as they overcame Killenagh Wanderers 6-4 in a goal-fest.

Matty Flynn was the main man for the saints, helping himself to four goals, while Shane Ryan and Dylan Ryan chipped in with a goal apiece, and Tom Hobbs (two), Eoin Whelan and Grant Evans replied.

Ben Cummins, Paddy Roche, James Walsh, Martin Nolan and Alan Walsh all hit the back of the net for Campile United as they ran out 5-1 winners over St. Cormac’s.

Enniscorth­y United earned the bragging rights as three goals in the first 20 minutes from Jamie Foley, Dylan Groarke and Darren Walsh saw them claim a 3-0 win against Enniscorth­y Town.

Martin Og Storey grabbed a hat-trick for The Ballagh United in their 6-1 win over Castledock­rell, with David O’Gorman, Noel Dempsey and Tommy Storey also scoring for the winners.

Division5

Camolin Celtic moved to the top of Division 5 with a five-star display against Wexford Celtic on Sunday. Cian Byrne, Stuart Byrne, Colm Hayes, Daniel Kennedy and Michael Murphy got the goals for Camolin as they ran out facile 5-0 winners.

Enniscorth­y United kept their unbeaten record intact in dramatic fashion against local rivals Ajax Athletic.

Ajax were 2-0 ahead and after they had been pegged back they managed to get their noses back in front in the 90th minute.

However, United didn’t throw in the towel, and Joe Millar bagged an injury time equaliser. Nick Roche and Adam Casey had earlier been on target for the Blues, with Aaron Moorehouse, Johnny Doran and Fran Farnan hitting the back of the net for Ajax.

Ciarán O’Connor, Jamie O’Rourke and Jack Murphy got the goals for Shelburne in their 3-1 win over Glynn Barntown, with Bill Joyce replying from the penalty spot.

Gary Doran helped himself to four goals for Fastnet Rovers as they hit Tombrack United for six without reply, with a Callum Smithies double completing their tally.

New Ross Town picked up their first win of the season when edging out Adamstown 2-1 in the basement battle. Thomas Simates and Paul Purcell scored for the winners, with Paul Cooper netting for Adamstown.
