Craanford-Monaseed first responders would like to invite new people to their team. Are you interested in been available to volunteer to respond to an occasional cardiac emergency in your area, and join a great group of local responders.

To be a member you need do attend some training for basic life support, and then occasionally agree to respond to a call Due to our small population, our responders tend to be called individually to very few calls a year, but the group it self is available to respond 24 hours of most days of the year. Our average call out rate is about one a month.

It’s great for the locality to know that if they phone 999 with a cardiac emergency the local first responder group will automatically be called by the national ambulance service , and often can arrive to support you before the paramedics arrive.

We always welcome new members and would love to hear from you, Please contact group co ordinator, noeleen kenny, 087 4104707 for further details or any of the other responders if interested.
