SCIENCE FESTIVAL COMES TO CLONROCHE

WexSci, Wexford Science Festival promotes science, technology, engineering, arts and maths (STEAM) in Co. Wexford. Wexford has been identified by research from Science Foundation Ireland, as a low intervention county in terms of STEM participation. With this in mind, a programme was developed to stimulate interest and debate about science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM). The aim of WexSci is to encourage people to engage with science in a fun and interactive way.

On Sunday, November 24, WexSci will come to Clonroche Community Centre. Admission is free for children and adults who are interested in science. Seating is limited so it is advisable to book. Places can be reserved by calling 086 8924150. Don’t miss this iconic event.

CHRISTMAS CRAFT FAIR

Galbally Community Centre, will host a Christmas Craft Fair on Sunday, November 24 from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Lots of local crafters will be in attendance with almost 20 tables already booked in with numerous gift ideas from a variety of vendors. Come and enjoy the Christmas atmosphere, bring the kids to see Santa, and meet friends and neighbours while supporting a local community centre. Some tables still available. For enquiries please call or text 087 2319219.

ST VINCENT DE PAUL COLLECTION

The annual collection in aid of St Vincent de Paul will take place after the Masses in Cloughbawn and Poulpeasty Churches on Saturday and Sunday, December 7, and eight. We would ask people to be as generous as possible as all the money collected will stay in the local area to help those who are in need.
