KILTEALY SENIOR CITIZENS PARTY

There will be a meeting in Kiltealy Hall tomorrow night Wednesday, November 13, at 8 p.m. to begin organising this year’s senior citizens Christmas party. People, who have previously helped are asked to attend to share their knowledge along with new volunteers who can help on the day so all guests can sit down and enjoy the meal. The party will be on Sunday, December 1, Spot prizes for the raffle would be welcome and can be left into the parish office. Thanking you in advance for your generosity.

Kiltealy school will be having their next clothes collection on Monday, November 18, The school shelter will be open all this week during school hours to facilitate dropping off of clothes.

CHRISTMAS CRAFT FAIR

Kicking off the festive spirit Kiltealy Voluntary Cardiac Response are having their fourth annual fundraisin­g Christmas fair in Kiltealy Community hall on Sunday, November 24, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Please come along and see the fantastic work our local crafters have on show and soak up the Christmas atmosphere. The November session of Ballindagg­in Story House will be this Thursday, November 14, at 8 p.m. Great music, song and story, admission free, refreshmen­ts served.

Ballindagg­in senior citizens party will be held on Sunday, December 8, at 1.30 p.m. in the Community Hall. The committee are looking forward to seeing you all at this annual special occasion.

KILTEALY WOOD HUB

Kiltealy Wood Hub opening was a huge success on Thursday night last with twenty five people signed up for the six-week course. They each pick a project they are going to work on over the coming weeks. All members were really enthusiast­ic about the weeks ahead.

The numbers drawn last week were 13, 14, 20 and 30. James Foley, Caim was the only player to match three and win €150. Seller’s prizes: Anthony Sinnott; James Howlin; Trish Rackard; Matt Mernagh. The draw tonight is in the Holy Grail and the jackpot is €5,900.
