A SAD TIME

Ballyduff lost a special man during the week. Sincere sympathy is extended to Mary Doyle, family and friends of Mr Paddy Doyle, The Shop, Ballyduff, who passed away during the week. You will be sadly missed. Rest in peace Paddy.

BALLYDUFF NS

Scoil na Maighdine Muire, Ballyduff is holding a Christmas Variety Concert on November 29 in the Courtyard, Ferns, starting at 7 p.m. and will be finished in time to make it home for the Toy Show. Tickets are available from the school. Tickets cost €10 Adults, €5 children and under-5s are free. All proceeds will go the school. All support appreciated.

The AED (Defibrillator) is back in location at the left side of the door into Clonee GAA clubhouse after being serviced recently. The Eircode for Clonee GAA is Y21F228.

FERNS BFRIENDLY

Ferns Bfriendly is a service for older people in Ferns and the surrounding areas of Clologue, Camolin, Ballyduff, who are living with social isolation or loneliness. Our volunteers offer a regular weekly friendly phone call at a time that suits the service user. Referrals can be made by family, neighbours, social services, health agencies or self-referral.

The Ferns Bfriendly service along with our team of friendly local volunteers hope to make a positive change to improve and enrich the lives of older people living in our community.
