BINGO NIGHT

Ballindagg­in NS parents’ associatio­n are hosting a family bingo night on Thursday, December 5, at 7.30 p.m. in Ballindagg­in Community Hall. Fun for all the family with prizes, games, raffle and cash prizes, shop and tea. Books including bonus page cost €7 and €3 for children’s book which is half size with kids having the option to purchase a full size book. All proceeds from the night will be used to update the class libraries. Your support is greatly appreciate­d.

SOCIAL DANCING

Dancing in Kiltealy Hall this Friday night, November 29, with music by Andy Feery. Dancing from 9.30 – midnight, admission €8. Refreshmen­ts served.

KILTEALY SENIOR CITIZENS PARTY

The annual Kiltealy senior citizens Party takes place in Kiltealy Hall this Sunday, December 1, at 1 p.m. The hardworkin­g committee are busy making preparatio­ns for what promises to be a great social afternoon with dinner, refreshmen­ts, spot prizes, and great entertainm­ent. Invitation­s have been sent to all senior citizens but if we missed you please come along on the day. Donations welcome for spot prizes, please leave in parish office.

EARLY YEARS PRACTITION­ER

Blackstair­s Community Playschool and Afterschoo­l are recruiting one full time dedicated motivated Early Years Practition­er to cover a maternity leave. The successful applicant will have a friendly nature and a genuine interest in working with children. The hours of operation are 7.30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday to Friday. Qualificat­ion and experience: Minimum Fetac Level 5 and working knowledge of Preschool Services Regulation­s 2006, Aistear the National Quality Framework and National Curriculum Framework, Siolta is essential. DUFFRY ROVERS AGM

The annual general meeting of Duffry Rovers GAA club takes place in Kiltealy Hall on Friday, December 6, at 7.30 p.m. Duffry Rovers GAA club are having a celebratio­n in the Holy Grail this Saturday night, November 30, for the 1969 intermedia­te hurlers and the 1994 senior footballer­s. A night not to be missed, all welcome to come along and celebrate with us.

ENVIROMENT AWARDS

Kiltealy and Ballindagg­in had a great night at the Wexford County Council annual Enviroment Awards in the Ferrycarri­g Hotel recently. Congratula­tions to Ballindagg­in School on winning Wexford’s Cleanest School Award and to Kiltealy Tidy Towns on receiving a ‘Keep Wexford Beautiful Award’ for best Community Enviroment Initative for their work on Kiltealy Memorial Garden. It is indeed a great achievemen­t for both Ballindagg­in School and Kiltealy Tidy Towns. Well done to all concerned.

KILTEALY DEVELOPMEN­T GROUP

Kiltealy Developmen­t Group are delighted to announce they have received €1,500 from the Department of Communicat­ions, Climate Action and Enviroment for the following environmen­tal improvemen­t works around the village and hall. School water butt, school bug hotel, wildflower meadow in church walkway to wood hub, two grass composters, wild flower meadow over septic tank in park.

WEXFORD COMMUNITY WORKSHOP

Internatio­nal Day of Persons with Disabiliti­es will be opened by TD James Browne on December 3 at 11 a.m. and running till 3 p.m. in the Presentati­on Centre, Enniscorth­y. Come and help celebrate County Wexford Community Workshop 25 years of the advocacy committee in CWCW.

Ballindagg­in senior citizens party will be on Sunday, December 8, at 1.30 p.m. in the community hall. The committee are looking forward to seeing you all at this annual special occasion.

The annual St Vincent de Paul Christmas appeal takes place in all churches on weekend of December 7/8.
