CHRISTMAS MASS TIMES

The following are Christmas Mass times for Kilealy and Ballindagg­in. Masses at normal times tonight Saturday (December 21) and Tomorrow Sunday. (December 22). Christmas Eve Vigil Kiltealy 7 p.m. Ballindagg­in 10 p.m. Christmas morning Kiltealy 9 a.m. Ballindagg­in 11.30 p.m. There will be a Reconcilia­tion Service in Caim Church on Monday (December 23) at 7 p.m. All children are invited to bring a toy with them to be blessed at Christmas morning Masses. Communion will be brought to all housebound in the parish on Monday, December 23, KILTEALY CRAFT FAIR.

Kiltealy Voluntary Cardiac Response would like to thank everyone who supported or helped out in any way at the Christmas Craft Fair on Sunday, November 24, To all the local businesses and craft workers, TY students and members of the local community who donated wonderful prizes to the raffle. To all the people who attended on the day we thank you for your support and generosity it was deeply appreciate­d. The total sum raised o the day with donations was €1,750. Looking forward to seeing you all again next year.

SYMPATHY

Deepest sympathy is extended to Anne Farrell, Wheelagowe­r, Ballindagg­in on the recent death of her sister Rita Farrell, Ballycarne­y, Carlow. Rita was interred in Tinryland Cemetery on Monday last following funeral Mass in St Joseph’s Church. May she rest in peace. Sympathy also to the family, relations and friends of Pat Doyle, Monaleen, Limerick and formerly of Ballindagg­in, who died on Monday December May 16 he rest in peace. Interment took place in Castletroy, Limerick.

DANCING IN KILTEALY

Social dancing in Kiltealy Community Hall on Friday, December 27, with music by Adrian Ryan. Dancing 10 p.m. to 12.30 a.m. Admission €8. Refreshmen­ts served.

RACING AWARD

Congratula­tions to Kiltealy trainer Colin Bowe on his huge success winning the national point to point racing award at the Horse Racing Ireland awards recently.

SPLIT THE POT

The full pot was given out for Christmas and the winners were first €200 Kathleen O’Leary. Second €100 Niamh Armstrong. Third €100 Jim Byrne. Congratula­tions to all.
