CHRISTMAS MASSES

Masses for Christmas in the parish are as follows – Christmas Eve Mass in Castledock­rell at 7 p.m. and in Marshalsto­wn at 9 p.m. Christmas Day Mass in Castledock­rell at 10 a.m. and in Marshalsto­wn at 11 a.m.

CAROL SERVICE

A most enjoyable evening was had at the Christmas Carol Service in Marshalsto­wn Church on

Sunday evening.

Thanks to all who took part in it and also to those who attended it.

WINTER SOLSTICE

Hope Cancer Support Centre are holding their winter Solstice Ceremony of Light and Healing in the Irish National Heritage Park, Ferrycarri­g, Wexford on Saturday, December 21 (today) at 7.30 p.m.

SYMPATHY

Sympathy is extended to the family of the late Pat Doyle. May he rest in peace.

The annual Patrons and blessing of graves in the parish are as follows: Marshalsto­wn on Sunday, May 31, 2020. Castledock­rell on Friday, July 3, 2020. Crioshue on Saturday, July 4, 2020. More details nearer to the time of each patron.

First Holy Communion in the parish is as follows Marshalsto­wn on Saturday, May 9, 2020, and Castledock­rell on Sunday, May 17, 2020.

STORYTELLI­NG

Next session of storytelli­ng is in Castledock­rell hall on Thursday, January 16, at 8 p.m. Thank you to all who supported storytelli­ng during the past year.

Wishing everyone a very Happy New Year and looking forward to seeing friends old and new again during it. Refreshmen­ts served and a raffle held on the night.

MASS TIMES

Weekend Masses in the parish are as follows Saturday in Marshalsto­wn at 7.30 p.m. and Sunday in Castledock­rell at 10 a.m. Please note also that baptisms in both Marshalsto­wn and Castledock­rell are on Saturdays.

SOCIAL DANCE

We would like to take this opportunit­y to wish all our Patrons and friends a very Happy New Year. Thank you for your support over the past year. The next Social Dance in Marshalsto­wn is on Friday, January 17. Doors open at 9.30 p.m. and dancing starts at 10 p.m. Admission including tea is €8.
