CRAFT MEETING

A group of local people, interested in traditiona­l crafts, meet every Tuesday at 8 p.m. in the Snug, in Marty’s Bar, Oulart. All craft workers are welcome to attend. Contact Teresa Lee at 086 3957896 for further informatio­n.

OPERATION TRANSFORMA­TION

Oulart-The Ballagh GAA Club, through its Healthy Club Officer, Breda Flood has signed up, once again for the RTÉ Operation Transforma­tion ‘Ireland Lights Up’ that was so successful in 2019.

Beginning on Monday, January 13, and continuing till February 24, the lights at the Upper Pitch will be on Monday nights from 7 p.m. till 8.30 p.m. to enable walkers/runners to participat­e. People are asked to sign-in so that the numbers taking part can be recorded.

BAPTISMS IN THE PARISH

Oulart and Ballaghkee­ne Baptism dates for 2020 have been published and will take place on Saturdays at midday or 4 p.m. Three weeks’ notice is required.
