DUFFRY ROVERS
Congratulations to long serving Duffry Rovers club secretary Joan Rafter, Shroughmore, who has been selected as Duffry Rovers person of the year 2019. Joan will be presented with an award in the Riverside Park Hotel at the District GAA awards on Friday, January 31.
There will be a celebration dinner on the night for all winners from the 12 clubs in the district. If you would like to attend and support Joan on the night tickets are available at €30 per person and can be purchased by contacting Philip Howlin at 087 2593313.

BALLINDAGGIN DEVELOPMENT GROUP
Well done to Ballindaggin Development Group, who have come up with a novel idea of erecting an old P & T box in the original position it stood for several decades in the village, the box will house a difibulator with the aim of improving survival from sudden cardiac arrest. The group hope to have the facility in place within a week.
Ballindaggin Development Group will hold their AGM in the Community Hall on February 7 at 8 p.m. All welcome to attend. The group would like to thank everyone who helped in any way over the past year. Your support is much appreciated.
