The Annual General Meeting of Bree Community Centre will take place on Monday, February 10, at 8.30 p.m.
The organisers of the meeting are asking all organisations that use the centre to be represented on the night.
Breeparish journal
Bree Parish Journal No 19 is now on sale.
The journal covers many of the events and activities in the area over the past two years, as well as a number of items of historical interest.
The cost of the journal is €10 and it is available in Byrne’s of Bree, Keeley’s, Ballybrennan, Londis in Tomnalosset and also in the bookshops in Enniscorthy and Wexford.
Bingoin Oulart
Bingo is held in Oulart Community Centre every Sunday night, beginning at 8 p.m.
Books are €10, with valuable cash prizes up for grabs.
We would ask as many people as possible to support the bingo because not only does it act as a fundraiser, it is also a great way of socialising and making and meeting friends and chatting with parishioners.
Crafty meeting
A group of local people interested in traditional crafts meets every Tuesday at 8 p.m. in the ‘Snug’ in Marty’s Bar, Oulart.
All craftworkers are welcome to attend.

GAA registration
There will be a Club Registration night on Tuesday, February 4, from 8.15 p.m. to 9.30p.m. in Oulart Community Centre.
All players and those intending to join the GAA club and camogie club are invited to go along and register on the night.

Bingonights inTheBallagh
Bingo is held every Tuesday night in Bob’s Bar, in The Ballagh, starting at 9 p.m. Each week, the bingo benefits a local cause or organisation.
The support of people within the community would be greatly appreciated.
Fernsbowls
Bowls sessions take place in Ferns Community Centre every Wednesday afternoon from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Everyone is welcome to attend.
Ballindaggin enrolments
Application forms for enrolment in St Colman’s National School, Ballindaggin for September 2020 are now available from the school office on 053 9388728, or through the school website: www.ballindagginns.ie
The completed forms should be returned to the school on or before Friday, February 28, in order to facilitate planning for the next school year.
Filmpremiere
The world première of a new short film, titled ‘Besties’, will take place in the Presentation Centre, Enniscorthy at 7.30p.m. on Friday, February 7.
The film features members of Enniscorthy Drama Group among the cast.
The launch is being organised to raise money for Focus Ireland.
The cast includes some wellknown faces from the acting world in Enniscorthy, including Karen Franklin, Jennifer Boyd, Fintan Kelly, Summer Venn-Keane, Maeve Ennis and Jennifer Kelly.
The film was directed by local filmmaker Dick Donoghue and was produced by Jer Ennis.
There will also be two other short films premièred on the night: ‘Dark Waters’, which was filmed in Bridgetown, starring Sharon Griffiths, with David Parsons, and ‘What Next Mother’, which is a comedy filmed in Bunclody.
Fishytales ontheway
The legendary Jerry Fish will be making a welcome visit to Enniscorthy when he stops off at the Presentation Centre on Friday, March 13, at 8.30 p.m.
‘Songs and Tales of Jerry Fish’ is sure to attract a capacity crowd to the venue and the show will undoubtedly be one of the most entertaining events staged there all year.
Jerry Fish is renowned for his Vaudeville-style stage antics and showmanship, so this is a show for lovers of theatre as well as music.
Every show on this tour will be unique and the boundaries between audience and performer will be eroded.
Tickets, priced €22, are available online and via the Presentation Centre reception.
