enrolment forms are now available for parents/guardians who wish to enrol their child in Scoil Naomh Bride, Blackwater for school year 2020/2021.
Forms are available from Karen, in the school office or by phoning the school on 9127314. Alternatively you may download form from school website blackwaterns.com.
MUSIC ENSEMBLE
A new Music Ensemble started up on Saturday, February 15, from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the new parish hall. It will be held on every second Saturday of the month. All ages, abilities and instruments are welcome to join. Please contact Aisling at 087 2711759 for more information.
GAA NOTES
Hard luck to Tomas Murphy was came on as a second half sub for the under-20 footballers when they lost out to a strong Meath team.
The draw was made for this year’s championships. The intermediate hurlers are in a group with Buffers Alley, Ballygarrett, Taghmon-Camross, HWH Bunclody and Rathgarogue-Cushinstown. They will play Ballygarrett first.
The junior footballers are in a group with St Martin’s (relegated from Intermediate A last year), Naomh Éanna B, Starlights B, Sarsfields B and Our Lady’s Island. First game is against Our Lady’s Island.
No winner of the recent lotto jackpot so the €15,000 continues for another two weeks. lucky-dip winners are Mary Sutton (Garrynisk), Patricia Redmond (Ballyfarnogue), Oonagh Rowe, Tadgh McKinley and the seller Mary Walsh.

All hurling groups are back training. Under-sevens train on Fridays from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. while the under-nines train on Wednesday nights 6 p.m. to 7 p.m., both in the indoor arena.
This week 25 years ago, Fr Tony Woods, John Dooley, Breda McGuinness and Brigid Whelan won the county Scor in the ballad section for the play, it was our first every country scor title.
