GAA CLUB NOTES
IRISH SCHOLARSHIP OPPORTUNITY – Buffers Alley GAA Club, in conjunction with Wexford GAA, are giving young players an opportunity to attend a Gaeltacht course in Coláiste Laighean in New Ross for two weeks in the summer.
Each club is asked to submit the names of two underage players who would be interested in putting their name forward for an open draw at county level. The courses are for sixth class to second year and another one for second to fifth year.
Any member of Buffers Alley interested in finding out more or wishing to put their name forward is asked to contact Domhnall McArdle (underage secretary) on or before Wednesday, February 26. If there are more than two interested in the club, a draw will take place to decide which names go forward.
NEW ONLINE PAYMENT SYSTEM – This is a reminder that the Buffers Alley GAA Club member online registration is now open for 2020 season which will facilitate easier payment of membership, club draws, ticket sales, etc. Download the clubforce App today or click clubforce.com/clubs/ GAA-buff.
We ask that you register as soon as possible so as to reduce the significant burden of managing this process on club registrar and committee. In addition to players, we are looking for social/non-playing members to join up. Adult social members €30 or €50 for a couple. All our rates are available to view on social media or on our website.
