TIDY VILLAGE ASSOCIATIO­N

Clonegal Tidy Village Associatio­n will hold its next meeting on Wednesday, February 26, at 7 p.m. in St Brigid’s Hall, Clonegal. Everyone is welcome.

GAA LOTTO RESULTS

There was no winner or online winner in last week’s lotto jackpot of €10,000. Number drawn were 02 – 07 – 09 and 19. Winners that matched three were Johnny Tobin c/o Joe Mernagh, Thomas Joyce, Corries, Eileen Kelly, Kilcruit, lotto Women and Yvonne Kidd c/o P Murphy, all receiving €30. Seller’s prize goes to Damien Treacy, receiving €50. The next draw will take place in Conway’s Lounge, Kildavin on Sunday, March 1, at 10.30 with a jackpot of €10,000 and reserve jackpot of €5,000.

LADIES’ GAELIC FOOTBALL

Indoor Pella has resumed for girls age 10+ Sundays from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. (Training for younger girls ages 7-9 will take place on Sundays from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m., start date TBC). New and existing players all welcome. For the first time this year we will cater for girls up to the age of 17. Please come along and try it out, its a beautiful sport and so much fun.

The Carlow Farmers Hunt Point to Point will take please on March 1, in Borris House, first race at midday Prizes from Detail Menswear Carlow and Savana Boutique, Carlow for most appropriat­ely dressed lady and gentleman. Saturday, February 29, library open day; Leaving Cert Film Screening at 2.30 p.m. – Bunclody Library will show a film screening of one of the prescribed films for Leaving Cert 2020. For further details please contact the library.
