DANCING IN KILTEALY

Andy Seery will provide the music for the February dancing in Kiltealy Community Hall on Friday night next February 28 Refreshmen­ts served. Dancing from 10 p.m. to 12.30 a.m. Admission €8. Always a great social night out.

KILTEALY HALL DEVELOPMEN­T

Kiltealy Community Hall developmen­t group 350 members draw 2020. €5,000 in prize money. €5 per week for 10 weeks or €50. Draw will take place in Kiltealy Hall after Mass on Saturday, April 4, Proceeds go to hall and Park (provide toilet and upgrade sewerage system) Please contact any committee member.

CHARITY WALK

There will be a charity walk in Kiltealy on Saturday, March 14, in aid of the Hope Cancer Support Centre. The walk will be on the scenic Cullentrag­h trail with a buggy friendly route available. Registrati­on will be in the Thatch from 2.30 p.m. and the walk will begin at 3.30 p.m.

Following the walk there will be a barbecue and face painting for kids. Later there will be a night of music in the Thatch with waxing and raffle. All proceeds and donations will will go to the Hope Cancer Support Centre, Enniscorth­y. Your support would be appreciate­d.

POKER NIGHT

Duffry Rovers annual five card poker tournament will be held in the Thatch Pub, Kiltealy on Saturday, February 29, at 9 p.m. Tickets €20 including refreshmen­ts. All welcome to come along on Saturday night next for a great game of poker.

WELLNESS DAY

There will be a Wellness day with Wexford Pilates Studio in the Blackstair­s Mountains on Saturday, February 29, Breathe, stretch, hike, delicious food, deep relaxation and more. Our Wellness day is designed for those who wish to take a little time out for themselves to nourish and restore body and soul.

The Wellness day starts with a pilates stretch and mindful movement class, then you can choose an 8km or 3km hike around the foothills of the Blackstair­s. Throughout the day tea and tasty vegan treats will be available and the hike will be followed by a nutritious healthy vegan lunch. A guided deep relaxation session will follow to totally relax the mind and body. The day concludes with farewell tea and treats. Please feel free, but not obliged, to bring a vegan, sugar free treat you would like to share.
