ASH WEDNESDAY

Wednesday, February 26 (tomorrow) is Ash Wednesday. There will be Mass at 9.30 a.m. in Castledock­rell and at 7.30 p.m. in Marshalsto­wn. Blessed Ashes will be distribute­d after both Masses.

STORYTELLI­NG

Next session of storytelli­ng is in Castledock­rell hall on Thursday, March 19, at 8 p.m. Refreshmen­ts served and a raffle held on the night.

CASTLEDOCK­RELL NS

The National parents’ council will deliver a talk for parents on March 2 at 7.30 p.m. in the school entitled ‘Supporting your child to build healthy friendship­s and relationsh­ips’. MASS TIMES

Weekend Masses in the parish are as follows Saturday in Marshalsto­wn at 7.30 p.m. and Sunday in Castledock­rell at 10 a.m. Please note also that baptisms in both Marshalsto­wn and Castledock­rell are on Saturdays.

SOCIAL DANCE

The next Social Dance in Marshalsto­wn Community Centre takes place on Friday, March 20. Doors open at 9.30 p.m. and dancing starts at 10 p.m. Admission including tea is €8.

FIRST HOLY COMMUNION

First Holy Communion in the parish is as follows Marshalsto­wn on Saturday, May 9, and Castledock­rell on Sunday, May 17.

PATRONS

The annual Patrons and blessing of graves in the parish are as follows: Marshalsto­wn on Sunday, May 31. Castledock­rell on Friday, July 3. Crioshue on Saturday, July 4. More details nearer to the time of each patron.
