Enniscorthy Credit Union launches new ‘green’ loan

-

GOT the ambition to be more energy efficient? We all know that making our cars and homes more energy efficient is not only good for the environment at large, but also great for saving a bit of money on bills. If you’re looking to upgrade your home or car and want to reduce your carbon footprint in the process, the good news is that Enniscorthy Credit Union stands ready to provide a flexible green loan.

Enniscorthy Credit Union has launched a new ‘green’ loan for those wanting to go green, but who might need some financial assistance to do so. “The new loan is as affordable as it is flexible. This loan will help us as a community make changes that will benefit us all, for this reason our green loan is currently being offered at a low rate of 5.25% APR of 5.4%*.”

The green loan is for any work that will improve the energy rating of the home or reduce the carbon footprint of the member. This special rate also covers Hybrid and Electric Vehicles.

An added benefit to members is their return on investment, saving money on their car tax, running costs, fuel/heating bills once the work is completed.

Credit unions are the most ethical lenders in Ireland, offering straightforward loans with very flexible terms and transparent terms and conditions. For example, there will never be any hidden charges or admin fees with our loans, nor will there be any stressful balloon payment at the end of the loan term. We will work with borrowers to ensure the loan repayments are structured in a way that best suits their financial circumstances. We are always happy to re-structure repayments if the borrower is under pressure, or alternatively, if they want to pay the loan off quicker than initially agreed. There are never any penalties for doing this.”

How to apply? Simple, just visit our website, enniscorthycu.ie, give us a call on 0539233835 or come into any office. If you aren’t a member you can join in any office and can apply for your green loan immediately.
