SignaCare Nursing home Bunclody provides person centred care, residents can visit for short term convalescence to recover from illness or surgery and get stronger to get back home, we provide respite to support carers to have a supported break and also residents come to live for long term care. Our luxurious centre offers passionately designed living areas, activities/ social areas, cinema, physiotherapy gym, and garden areas. Our large spacious bedrooms offer residents their own private areas to personalise and individualise to meet their own specific tastes and choice.
Recently opened SignaCare Bunclody is a state of the art luxury nursing home located in the heart of the vibrant town of
Bunclody. At the centre we focus on living daily life , optimising a person independence. We have a have developed a wonderful caring and expertly trained team of staff that are committed to improving daily life of our residents. Owner and Head of Operations , Margaret-Anne Walsh stated that “our team is central to the care we provide to each resident on an individual basis. We strive to improve quality of life for each resident”. In Bunclody our physiotherapists create an individual plan and link with our dieticians, Wound care Specialists , care team coordinated by our nursing team and senior managers. Social engagement and the social and activities programme is central to daily life at the centre.
Since opening in Bunclody we have continued to build our team, we have an intensive training for our new team members to ensure our delivery of excellence in care. We have specialist training in dementia care and care of the Older person, all which enhances understanding individual health and social needs. Margaret-Anne added we plan a careplan with the resident and their family, focusing on the residents wishes and choice, with our residents guiding their individual care planning.
SignaCare New Ross is newly transformed nursing Homewith luxurious refurbishment . It has been an exceptional year our team in New Ross, with the centre a finalist for a National award in Excellence in Dementia care, the centre is truly changed with our caring hands on approach.
