‘DOWN MEMORY LANE’ BOOKS

The ‘ Down Memory Lane’ books that were printed a few years ago didn’t all sell after printing extra copies and were stored. A small number of them have been left down here in the parish office where you can pick up 116 pages of local history and connection­s for just €5.

Craanford Sports Complex extends a warm welcome to Junior Achievemen­t Ireland, who will be visiting shortly with their school’s roadshow. JAI seeks To inspire and motivate young people to realise their potential by valuing education and understand­ing how to succeed in the world of work.

Congratula­tions to Una Sinnott, who captained the UCD Ag Science great Agri-food debating team on their brilliant success recently.

Strictly 2020 is up and running, a word of thanks to all our dancers who have being so generous with their commitment and time towards this project. Upcoming events include soccer tournament on March 22 and Poker classic on April 3, a fashion show and a variety show. Win a trolley full of groceries and a trailer full of logs are other upcoming fundraiser­s. Our strictly club dance night is on Friday, May 1, with the final V Carnew on Friday, May 8, On Sunday, March 22, a five a side soccer tournament will take place at 2 p.m. why not grab a few friends and take part.
