Clonegal Tidy Village Meeting is postponed till future notice.

HUNTINGTON CASTLE – EASTER TREASURE HUNT

This year, Huntington Castle have their annual Treasure Hunt around the garden from April 20 to April 22. Each child will be given a basket and a set of clues, they then have to find the golden nuggets and win a chocolate surprise at the end. There will also be an opportunit­y to meet some of the new little lambs and enjoy the adventure playground.

Clonegal/Kildavin senior citizens committee wish to thank everyone involved in the Kildavin-Clonegal Drama Group for staging their drama ‘Mother Knows Best’ in aid of Clonegal/ Kildavin senior citizens Christmas party. Once again – thank you one and all.

DEEPEST SYMPATHY

Sincere sympathy is extended to the Kilbride Family son Micheál, daughter Mairead sonin-law Pat, daughter-in-law Monica and granddaugh­ter Aoife, on the sudden death of their mother and Grandmothe­r Mary Kilbride (née Tyrrell) Gurteen, Bunclody. Mary passed away on March 1 at Wexford General Hospital. She was predecease­d by her husband Michael only by eight months. Mary reposed in Lennon’s funeral home on Monday afternoon with removal on 6.45 to the Church of the Most Holy Trinity, Bunclody. Funeral Mass took place on Tuesday at 11 a.m. with burial afterwards in Calvary Cemetery.
