RADON MONITORS AVAILABLE TO BORROW

County Wexford Library Service has launched a new project, in collaboration with the EPA, to Borrow a digital radon monitor from your library. Bunclody and County Wexford is the first location for this in Ireland.

The digital radon monitors can be borrowed from the library, as you borrow a book. You borrow for three weeks and return. In that three weeks you can see by the reading, if your house is radon free or what levels are being recorded. And of course the EPA can be very easily contacted if people have queries or concerns from what they are learning. There is a 24-hour help line where immediate queries can be dealt with, more complex queries aim to be followed up in the working day by the EPA.

There will be 20 monitors for loan in Bunclody Library. Please co.ntact the Library for details.
