GAA

GAA directive from Croke Park, adhering to Government best practice instructions regarding Covid-19, requires all GAA grounds and premises to close to ALL activity for the immediate future. This unfortunately includes the Walking track and individual training.

We can only look forward to reopening the club facilities to players and the community as soon as possible.

Lotto - There was no jackpot in the last lotto draw. The numbers were 4, 13, 17 and 21. There were four match-three winners. The next two draws take place on April 6 and 20. The jackpot now stands at €3,900.

CHURCH

Both Churches in Kilanerin and Ballyfad are open everyday for private visits. Parish office is closed for the moment. For any queries, ring the parochial house on 0402 37120.

All public worship is cancelled but Mass is celebrated in the parish every day. Phone or text your intentions to Fr Browne at 086 8926260.

A group of volunteer drivers are available to collect and driver emergency supplies or medication. Please call the parochial house for more details.

Funerals will still be celebrated but we request that only family close friends attend the church service to keep the numbers down. Cemetery attendance can accommodate more.

For baptisms, we suggest two parents and two godparents and the candidate for baptism only attend, since multiple baptisms take place at the same time in our parish.

FIELD DAY

Ballyfad field day committee (hopefully by July we will be all free to travel) are organising their annual raffle now. Sponsorship of prizes are eagerly sought. Please contact any committee member with your support.
