VINTAGE NEWS

Due to the measures being imposed by Covid-19 the proposed Over The Water Water Vintage Tractor Run scheduled for April, 2020 has been cancelled.

KEEP YOUR DISTANCE

At time of going to press, the walking track at Garrywilliam is open for use. Please be very mindful of keeping your distance from other users and adhere to Covid 19 advise from the Government and the HSE. This is a very difficult time for everyone in our community and we all need to be mindful of the more vulnerable in our midst.

Again we repeat, keep an eye on your neighbours and people living alone who may not have a support network but please do so without compromising their health. Indeed a quick phone call to make sure they are ok may help.

Sometimes a person just needs to hear and speak to another human being for a few minutes and it can make all the difference. Just spare a moment for them. Many of them will be feeling very isolated now and a call could brighten up their day. We are in for the long haul, we cannot become complaisant, so stay safe and adhere to the rules.

STORYTELLING HOUSE

Kyle Forge story telling sessions and all other related activities which are held in the Forge have been cancelled for the foreseeable future. For enquiries please contact John Meagher on 086-8904715.
