BOXING CLUB
The IABA issued a statement on March 20 stating that all championships, competitions, organised training (indoor or outdoor) and all other boxing related events would be cancelled till further notice.
The board has further directed that there will be no championships or competition allowed to take place at club, county, provincial or national level till at least June 2020. This timeline may too be extended.
The board will continue to monitor the situation and follow the guidance issued by the HSE and they encourage all members to do likewise. The IABA Board would like to thank all members for the concern they have shown for their communities in abiding by the directives.
GAA MEMBERSHIP DEADLINE
Members and intending members of Oulart-The Ballagh GAA Club are reminded that only those who have paid their membership by March 31 will have a vote at the next AGM.
CROKE PARK DIRECTIVE
Following a further directive from GAA headquarters in Croke Park all GAA facilities including pitches, walking tracks, gyms, club houses and hurling walls etc must be closed immediately and remain closed till further notice.
CONTACT TRACING
People are encouraged to keep a daily diary of all the places they visit and a list of the people with which they have physical contact.
If this is done it would reduce the workload of those doing necessary ‘contact tracing’ in the weeks ahead.
If all clubs, groups, societies and organisations would forward this message to their members it would make a huge difference in identifying the people who need to be contacted should the need arise and it would speed-up the vital work of contact tracing.
