ST LOUIS DAY CARE CENTRE

St Louis Day Care Centre are open behind closed doors and are delivering Meals on Wheels and assisting the elderly and vulnerable in our community in any way we can by way of prescription collections and deliveries, grocery shopping, advice and information. LATE JOHNNY HAYES

The death occurred on Friday, March 20, of John (Johnny) Hayes, Lewistown, Fethard-onSea. Johnny was the local correspondent for the Fethard Notes for maNy years up to his recent illness.

He was also involved in many community activities, most notably with the Duncannon Athletic Club and Cross Country and Community Games. He also had a keen interest in politics.

Johnny is sadly missed by his sisters Sister Martina and Maggie, brother Eddie, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Due to Government and HSE advice a private family funeral took place in All Saint’s Church Templetown with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Sincere sympathy is extended to his family. May he rest in peace.

DR COX SURGERY

Dr Cox’s surgery in Fethard is now closed to appointments. We will only see urgent cases. Please do not call to the surgery, phone if you need advice.

Our phone lines have been inundated with phone calls so please be patient. We are doing prescriptions as normal and will send them to our local chemists. Your patience is appreciated at this difficult time.
