OUR LADY OF LOURDES NS

As a result of the Covid-19 outbreak, Our Lady of Lourdes NS, Bunclody is continuing to accept applications for places in our Junior Infant classes for September 2020. Due to Covid-19, the school is currently closed but further information and application forms can be requested by emailing the school at secretarybunclodyns@gmail.com. Our Lady of Lourdes NS is at the heart of the community in Bunclody and provides a warm, welcoming atmosphere for all our children to learn in. We look forward to the return of normal times in September. Stay safe.

BUNCLODY LIBRARY

Are you or do you know someone who is elderly or vulnerable and who is cocooning at home? You can now request a delivery of library books, audiobooks and DVDs from Wexford Libraries, who will deliver directly to their door.

How does it work?

A person who is cocooning phones the Wexford Community Call helpline at 053 9196000 – and dials extension one.

A library staff member will contact the person who is cocooning and organises suitable library material to be delivered directly to them.

All items are on long loan; there are no overdue fines or fees and access to the service is always free.

If you use audio or digital books you can search, reserve and read e-books and e-audio books through the BorrowBox app.

Log on to wexfordcoco.ie/ libraries/ebooks-and-eresources to see the vast array of digital resources you can access on your smart device or home computer.

CLOHAMON AREA REUNION

It is with great disappointment and regret that we need to announce the postponement of our Clohamon Area Reunion for 2020. We are rescheduling for Saturday, July 31, 2021. We are really sorry we had to make this call but people’s health and wellbeing must come first.

Many of you will have expected this news, so this gives us all something to look forward to next year. Meanwhile, feel free to keep contact up on our page. With all this spare time some of us have, you may find some old photos. Feel free to share them.

In the meantime, keep safe. See you all next year.
