PTE ANDY WICKHAM
The Commoration of Pte. Andy Wickham was marked at his graveside in Barntown Church last Sunday week. May the soul of Andy and all those who served with him rest in peace. A special thanks to Maura Rossiter for making the wreath at extremely short notice.
PARISH MESSAGE
Gratitude is extended to Fintan Gough, who gifted an Altar Cloth from Fátima, to Barntown Church for Our Lady’s Altar. The Shrine is dedicated to Our Lady of Fatima and the Altar Cloth is most welcome for the month of May, as this month is dedicated to Our Lady.
SUPERMACS
Supermacs Larkin’s Cross is now open and the team are delighted to be providing a service to their customers from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Seven days a week. We look forward to seeing you over the coming days.
O’BRIEN’S LONDIS
We are delighted to confirm that our store opening hours are now back to normal – 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. Willie and our Deli team are busy baking daily so please spread the word. We have also managed to secure regular deliveries of Compost and Bedding Plants for our customers with green fingers.
We are very happy to be providing a free local delivery service during the current Covid 19 crisis for our valued customers. Please phone the shop at 053 9120021 with your order and feel free to spread the word to those who may find this service valuable. Take care everyone.

It is important to keep the older people in our community ‘connected’ and informed during this time. Please pick up the phone or check in with elderly cocooning family members and neighbours to make sure they are not feeling isolated during this time.
ALONE SUPPORT LINE
The charity ALONE have launched a CoVid19 support line for the elderly community who may feel vulnerable. Please don’t hesitate to contact the service at 081 8222024 if you have concerns. Further information is also available on alone.ie.
