Goodbye to school

Is your son or daughter finishing their primary school education this year?

If they are, it means that, unfortunately, they won’t be able to have their normal graduation day and won’t have the opportunity to say goodbye to their schoolmates and teachers in the usual way.

However, we want to give them that chance so if your child is in sixth class, and about to make the big leap to secondary school, why not sent us in a photo of them with a little message to their friends and teacher to say goodbye.

Just include the child’s name, what school they attended, and a brief message, and email it to brendan.keane@peoplenews.ie

The weekly service is free of charge and all obituaries are completed in a manner that is sensitive to your own personal wishes and requests.

They are also shaped entirely by your direction and in full consultation with you at all times.

Please feel free to contact the journalist above if an obituary tribute in this newspaper is something that interests you or if it’s something that you would like to have written to honour the memory of a loved one close to you who has passed away.
